Art, culture, and commerce are coming together in a big way on the streets of Bronzeville! We are thrilled to announce that 11 of our incredible local businesses are officially live in the Art Institute of Chicago’s Project Windows Design Competition.
First launched in 2012, Project Windows brings visual art and creativity directly into neighborhoods across Chicago. This year, the Art Institute selected Willem de Kooning as the artist inspiration, and Bronzeville is leading the pack with beautiful storefront designs that reflect the brilliant creative soul of our community.
Take a look behind the scenes of our community-building initiative, hosted by Ka’Lab: The Creative Space, featuring Maria Lopez, Associate Director of Civic Relations and Partnerships at the Art Institute of Chicago:
