The wait is officially over! Bronzeville Summer Nights (BSN) is back for 2026, and we are kicking off the season on Friday, July 10th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM along the vibrant Cottage Grove corridor.
Our mission is all about intentional commerce—bringing the community’s incredible energy, culture, and music directly into the brick-and-mortar shops that keep our neighborhood thriving. We’ve curated an unforgettable evening of local shopping, outdoor movement, and music for the perfect vibes.

New Faces on the Block: First-Time BSN Appearances
We are thrilled to welcome two incredible new businesses making their very first Bronzeville Summer Nights appearance. Make sure to step inside their doors and show them some love:
Lilypad's Açaí Bar (43rd & Cottage)
This vibrant new addition serves up an array of loaded açaí and grain bowls, gourmet toasts, matcha teas, fresh juices, and artisanal smoothies. The team at Lilypad will be sampling smoothies and bowls, and you’ll definitely want to try and then buy. The BSN team already has its favorite, ‘On-A-Date’: A perfectly sweet mix of dates, bananas, almond butter, and oat milk. (Ask to add chocolate hazelnut for an extra treat!)
Fleurish Chicago (43rd & Cottage)
Fleurish Chicago is a stunning, full-service floral design shop, retail space, and creative workshop hub. For their big BSN debut, they are going all out with a beautiful, interactive activation. Stop in for hand-made floral crowns, and stick around for a mini floral photo shoot with a professional photographer on-site!

On the Move: The BSN Community Bike Ride
Want to get moving for the BSN kick-off?! Grab your family and your neighbors for a leisurely, family-friendly bike ride throughout the Bronzeville community.
Where: Depart from Small Shop Cycles & Service (4250 S. Cottage Grove Ave).
When: Gather between 5:00 PM and 5:45 PM. The ride officially kicks off at 6:00 PM.
No Bike? No Problem: Thanks to our partnership with Divvy, free bikes will be available on-site for riders!
Pro-Tip: Fuel up for the ride! We highly recommend grabbing a refreshing smoothie from Lilypad's Açaí Bar right on the corner or a scoop of ice cream from Nitro Nostalgia next door before the wheels start turning.
Sound of the Corridor
As you make your way down the corridor, let our always fabulous host, Dana Davine, guide you to the sounds of DJs John Young, Reggie Reg, Blk Soldier, and Marco. Be prepared to be blown away by our featured live performance at the 4400 Grove building with artist Jerald Daemyon, accompanied by live saxophone. Daemyon is a genre-defying electric violinist, producer, and keyboardist who has completely redefined the role of the violin in contemporary music. His seamless fusion of jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, and world music creates a sound that is both deeply soulful and sonically adventurous.
